Welcome to SQUEEKS Hair!
These Terms and Conditions outline the policies and guidelines for using our services, booking appointments, and interacting with our salon. By booking an appointment with us, you agree to the following terms.
1. Appointments & Cancellations
· Booking: Appointments can be made online, by phone, or in person. All appointments are confirmed electronically via email or SMS. It is your responsibility to ensure we have your correct contact details.
· Arrival: Please arrive on time for your appointment. We recommend arriving 5 minutes early to allow for a consultation. Late arrival may result in a reduced service time or, if too late, rescheduling to avoid inconveniencing other clients.
· Cancellation & Rescheduling: We understand that life happens. We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to offer the slot to another client on our waiting list.
· Late Cancellation / No-Show Policy: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice and clients who fail to show up for their appointment ("no-shows") will be subject to a fee of 50% of the scheduled service cost. This fee must be paid before any future appointments can be booked.
· Multiple No-Shows: Clients who repeatedly miss appointments without notice may be required to pre-pay for future services.
2. Consultations
· A consultation is required for all new clients and for any significant colour or chemical service. This ensures we have a clear understanding of your desired outcome, assess the condition of your hair, and discuss timing and pricing.
· Please bring inspiration photos to help guide the conversation. We will always be honest about what is achievable based on your hair's history, condition, and integrity.
3. Prices & Payments
· Pricing: All prices are quoted in GBP (£) and are subject to change without notice. The price quoted is an estimate; final pricing may vary based on the hair's length, density, condition, and the time/product required to achieve your desired result.
· Payment: We accept cash, and all major debit and credit cards. Payment is due in full upon completion of services.
· Price Adjustments: If you request additional services or products during your appointment, the price will be adjusted accordingly.
4. Right to Refuse Service
SQUEEKS Hair reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including but not limited to:
· If a client's hair is deemed too damaged for the requested service.
· If a client is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
· If a client is behaving in a disrespectful, abusive, or threatening manner towards our staff or other clients.
5. Satisfaction & Service Adjustments
Your happiness is our priority. If you are unsatisfied with your service, please notify us within 48 hours of your appointment. We will gladly offer a complimentary adjustment service to correct any issues. Adjustments are provided at the discretion of the salon director and the original stylist and must be a variation of the original style, not a complete style change. No refunds will be given for services rendered.
6. Health & Safety
· Allergies & Sensitivities: It is your responsibility to inform your stylist of any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions that could affect your service (e.g., skin conditions, pregnancy) prior to the start of your appointment.
· Patch Testing: A patch test for colour services is mandatory for all new clients and for anyone who has not had a colour service with us in the last 6 months. This is a non-negotiable health and safety requirement. We cannot perform any colour service without a confirmed negative patch test result at least 48 hours prior to your appointment.
7. Children & Guests
To ensure a safe and relaxing environment for all our clients, we ask that you do not bring children unless they are receiving a service. For safety reasons, only one guest may accompany you during your appointment, and they must remain in the waiting area.
8. Personal Belongings
Please keep all personal belongings with you during your appointment. SQUEEKS Hair cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage of any personal items.
9. Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. The personal information you provide (name, contact details, hair history) is used solely for booking appointments, providing services, and informing you of offers or updates (if you have opted in). We will never share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. For more details, please see our full Privacy Policy on our website.
10. Gift Vouchers
· Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
· They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
· Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.
